About this role

The Urology Group seeks a highly skilled Interventional Radiologist to join the IR Center of Greater Cincinnati in Cincinnati, OH. Provide expert diagnostic imaging interpretation and perform a full range of image-guided interventional procedures supporting the growing urology service line. Collaborate closely with urologists and specialists for minimally invasive, patient-focused outpatient care.

Interpret imaging studies including CT, MRI, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, and nuclear medicine related to urologic conditions. Perform procedures such as biopsies, drainages, vascular access, prostate artery embolization for BPH, nephrostomy tube placements, and other image-guided therapies. Consult with referring urologists to recommend imaging strategies and procedural plans.

Join nearly 40 board-certified urologists and a comprehensive support team in one of the largest single-specialty urology practices in the United States. Deliver advanced, patient-centered care across Greater Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky, and Southeastern Indiana in a modern, integrated environment. Participate in clinical decision-making, patient education, and communication of imaging findings.

Requirements

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
  • Board certification or board eligibility in Diagnostic Radiology, with fellowship training in Interventional Radiology
  • Active Ohio medical license or eligibility for licensure in the state
  • Strong technical proficiency in diagnostic imaging and image-guided procedures, with interest in urologic applications such as prostate artery embolization
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset

Responsibilities

  • Interpret a variety of imaging studies, including CT, MRI, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, and nuclear medicine related to urologic and associated conditions
  • Perform interventional radiology procedures such as biopsies, drainages, vascular access, embolization (including prostate artery embolization for BPH), nephrostomy tube placements, and other minimally invasive, image-guided therapies
  • Consult with referring urologists and other providers to recommend appropriate imaging strategies and procedural plans
  • Participate in clinical decision-making, patient education, and clear communication of imaging findings
  • Ensure adherence to quality assurance standards, radiation safety, and imaging protocols
