The Ohio State University College of Medicine and Wexner Medical Center seek an academic cardiovascular imaging physician to join the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine as Director for Cardiac CT. Academic rank and track will be commensurate with experience. The role focuses on expanding coronary and structural imaging services.

The successful candidate will support robust inpatient and outpatient imaging at the Richard M. Ross Heart Hospital. This position emphasizes advanced heart and vascular care through innovative technologies and clinical trials. Faculty often serve as principal investigators in research projects.

Requirements

  • Board eligible/certified in Cardiovascular Medicine
  • Successful completion of US-accredited cardiology fellowship
  • Eligible for Ohio medical license
  • Clinical or translational research experience preferred
  • Qualify for academic appointment at The Ohio State University
  • Expertise in cardiovascular imaging as physician or physician scientist

Responsibilities

  • Direct the Cardiac CT program in the Advanced Imaging Program
  • Expand coronary and structural imaging services
  • Support inpatient and outpatient imaging services
  • Provide cardiovascular imaging expertise at Ross Heart Hospital
  • Participate in clinical trials and innovative treatments
  • Conduct clinical or translational research as principal investigator
  • Manage complex cardiovascular conditions using advanced technologies
