About this role
Reporting to the Executive Director of Radiology/Imaging with accountability to the Manager and under the direction of a Radiologist, the CT Technologist I receives and prepares patients. Operates computerized, non-invasive scanning equipment to provide computerized tomography (CT) radiographic scans. These scans aid radiologists and physicians in diagnosing injuries and studying body systems.
Full-time position offers 36 hours weekly at Edward Hospital in Naperville, IL. Schedule includes Monday-Friday from 3pm to 11pm, with rotating weekends and holidays. Focuses on delivering quality imaging in a Magnet-recognized hospital environment.

Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Graduate of an accredited school in Radiologic Technology, preferred
- Candidate for ARRT (R) certification; must complete exam and register within six months of start date
- ARRT (CT) certification required within one year of start date
- Current IEMA license
- Knowledge of and/or experience in the correct use of body mechanics
- Current BLS/CPR certification from the American Heart Association
Responsibilities
- Receive and prepare patients for CT procedures
- Operate computerized, non-invasive CT scanning equipment
- Provide computerized tomography (CT) radiographic scans
- Assist radiologists and physicians in diagnosing patient injuries
- Study body systems through CT imaging
- Follow direction from Radiologist during scans
- Maintain proper body mechanics during patient handling
