Sentara CarePlex Hospital in Hampton, VA, is currently hiring a CT Technologist for a Full Time Weekend Day Shift. Provide quality Computed Tomography (CT) Imaging to patients under the direction of a supervising physician with adherence to the required protocol standards. 30K Sign On Bonus Available for Qualified Candidates with hours Friday, Saturday and Sunday: 6:30am - 7pm.
Perform Computed Tomography (CT) per protocol under the direction of a qualified physician. Provide patient and family education, operate equipment safely, and complete department documentation. Maintain all equipment clean and operational while keeping adequate supply inventory for examinations.
Follow radiation safety regulatory guidelines and administer CT Contrast per protocol. Requirements
- Trade School Graduate - Radiologic Technology
- ARRT or CNMT (Required)
- Must obtain ARRT (CT) advanced registry within 2 years of hire
- Adherence to required protocol standards
- Knowledge of radiation safety regulatory guidelines
- Ability to administer CT Contrast per protocol
- Proficiency in operating CT equipment safely
