About this role
Spire Cambridge Lea Hospital seeks General Radiographers to join the bank on an as-and-when-required basis. The role supplements staffing during busy periods and covers annual leave or sickness for existing team members across Monday to Saturday shifts.
Bank Radiographers deliver high-quality, efficient radiographic services by providing specialised imaging and making informed decisions on required diagnostic procedures. They maintain a professional, caring approach while ensuring Clinical Governance and risk management remain embedded in daily practice.
The position requires responsibility for the standard of personal imaging work and that of supervised radiographers. Colleagues operate in a commercial environment while upholding safe standards and offering clinical leadership plus educational expertise to the wider team.

Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Radiography
- HCPC Registration
- Experience in all general imaging including theatres
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Able to work in a commercial environment while maintaining safe standards
- Flexible to work on an adhoc basis, ideally 4-6 shifts a month

- Deliver high quality, efficient radiographic service as part of the team
- Provide highly skilled and specialised imaging for patients
- Make informed decisions on the diagnostic imaging required
- Demonstrate a professional, caring and responsible approach to duties
- Provide clinical leadership, educational and development expertise
- Maintain responsibility for the standard of own imaging work and supervised radiographers
- Embed Clinical Governance and risk management within daily practice
