This full-time Radiologic Tech position is based in the Cardiac Services: Interventional department at Aurora St. Lukes Medical Center. The role focuses on providing high-quality imaging support during cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures.
Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and operating imaging equipment, assisting physicians during procedures, and ensuring patient safety and comfort. The schedule involves 8- or 10-hour shifts with varying start times, plus weekend, holiday, and call rotation.
You will work within a dedicated cardiac services team, collaborating closely with cardiologists, nurses, and other technologists in a fast-paced, procedure-oriented environment. The role offers the opportunity to develop specialized skills in interventional imaging.

Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program
- Current ARRT certification in Radiography
- State of Wisconsin radiographer license or eligibility
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Experience in cardiac catheterization lab or interventional radiology preferred
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- Perform radiologic imaging procedures in the cardiac catheterization lab
- Assist physicians during interventional cardiac procedures
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment according to safety standards
- Prepare patients for procedures and ensure their comfort and safety
- Adhere to radiation safety protocols and infection control guidelines
- Participate in weekend, holiday, and call rotation as scheduled
- Document procedure details and patient information accurately
