This full-time Radiologic Tech position is based in the Cardiac Services: Interventional department at Aurora St. Lukes Medical Center. The role focuses on providing high-quality imaging support during cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures.

Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and operating imaging equipment, assisting physicians during procedures, and ensuring patient safety and comfort. The schedule involves 8- or 10-hour shifts with varying start times, plus weekend, holiday, and call rotation.

You will work within a dedicated cardiac services team, collaborating closely with cardiologists, nurses, and other technologists in a fast-paced, procedure-oriented environment. The role offers the opportunity to develop specialized skills in interventional imaging.

This position is benefits-eligible and provides a stable, full-time schedule of 40 hours per week. It is an excellent opportunity for a radiologic technologist seeking to advance their career in a specialized cardiac setting.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program
  • Current ARRT certification in Radiography
  • State of Wisconsin radiographer license or eligibility
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • Experience in cardiac catheterization lab or interventional radiology preferred
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Perform radiologic imaging procedures in the cardiac catheterization lab
  • Assist physicians during interventional cardiac procedures
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment according to safety standards
  • Prepare patients for procedures and ensure their comfort and safety
  • Adhere to radiation safety protocols and infection control guidelines
  • Participate in weekend, holiday, and call rotation as scheduled
  • Document procedure details and patient information accurately
