About this role

Kettering Health is a not-for-profit system of 14 medical centers and over 120 outpatient facilities serving southwest Ohio. Our Angiography Technicians assist physicians during cardiac or peripheral diagnostic and interventional procedures, including pacemakers and ICDs.

In this role, you will perform radiographic work on several different types of imaging equipment, ensuring all procedures are completed competently and efficiently. You will also assist with patient care and safety while individuals are in the Cardiac Cath or EP lab environment.

This position requires rotating call for emergency procedures with a 30-minute response time. You will work alongside a dedicated team of healthcare professionals committed to providing exceptional care in a mission-driven organization.

Requirements

Graduation from an accredited Radiology Program.
Current certification with ARRT in diagnostic radiology.
Possesses a current license as a State of Ohio Radiology.
BLS certification.
ACLS certification required within six months of hire.
1 year recent hospital angiographic interventional experience (preferred).
Cath Lab experience (preferred).
Live within 30 minutes for call requirement (preferred).

Responsibilities

Assist the physician during cardiac or peripheral diagnostic and interventional procedures, pacemakers, and ICDs.
Perform radiographic work on several different types of radiographic equipment to ensure competent, timely, and efficient completion of all work.
Assist with patient care and safety while the patient is in the Cardiac Cath or EP lab environment.
Rotate call for emergency procedures with a 30-minute response time.
Prepare and operate angiographic and special procedures equipment according to established protocols.
Monitor patient vital signs and hemodynamic status during procedures.
Document procedure details and maintain accurate patient records.
