As an MRI Technologist, you will operate MR equipment and apply your knowledge of Radiology Information Systems, PACS, and digital data transfer processes. This full-time evening role (3:00pm - 11:30pm) covers both MR and X-ray services with rotating weekend coverage.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Graduate of an approved school of Radiology
  • New York State License in Radiologic Technology and license to inject contrast
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
  • Advanced modality certification within 1 year of hire
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as an imaging technologist

Responsibilities

  • Operate MR equipment under the direction of a radiologist and supervision of a department supervisor
  • Apply knowledge of Radiology Information Systems, PACS, and digital data transfer processes
  • Cover both MR and X-ray services during the evening shift (3:00pm - 11:30pm) and every other weekend
  • Administer contrast media as required, using valid license to inject contrast
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures
  • Maintain accurate patient records and image documentation
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other technologists to support diagnostic care
