About this role

The Adult CT Technologist performs routine computed tomography examinations in accordance with established protocols, policies, and safety standards. This role delivers care under appropriate supervision across a variety of settings. Positions are available in levels 1-3 based on experience, education, and certification.

Prepares patients for procedures and correlates clinical history with physician-ordered exams. Safely administers contrast per protocol while recognizing basic imaging artifacts and implementing corrective measures. Accurately transfers images and associated data to designated systems and completes documentation in EMR/PACS.

Collaborates with patients, families, and the care team to support desired clinical outcomes. Carries out operator-level quality control checks, cleaning, high-level disinfection, and basic equipment maintenance per manufacturer instructions. Supports inventory tasks to help ensure supplies remain available.

Actively participates in continuing education, professional development, and research initiatives to maintain competencies. New hires located outside 100 miles may receive relocation assistance and a possible sign-on bonus along with up to $25,000 in student loan repayment.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited imaging, radiology or nuclear medicine program as defined by ARRT
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by the American Heart Association required upon hire
  • ARRT(RT) certification required within 12 months of hire for Level 1
  • ARRT(RT)(CT) certification required upon hire for Level 2 and Level 3
  • Associate's Degree required for Level 2 and Level 3
