Requirements

Graduate of an Accredited Radiography Program
One year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist preferred
Associate degree or above preferred
License in Radiography (R) within Florida
American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) registration in Radiography
American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) registration in Computed Tomography (CT) within 18 months of start date
Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 90 days of start date

Responsibilities

Produce high quality images that meet the standards established by the Mayo Clinic Department of Radiology
Operate CT scanners to capture diagnostic images according to protocol
Position patients accurately to obtain optimal imaging results
Apply radiation safety and protection measures during all procedures
Prepare patients and explain CT examinations as required
Administer contrast agents when indicated and monitor patient response
Maintain and calibrate CT equipment to ensure consistent performance
Document exam details and collaborate with radiologists on image quality
