About this role

Reporting to the Manager of Diagnostic Imaging, this Registered Technologist (MRT) will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in a multidisciplinary family-centred care environment. The role includes performing a complete range of tests and procedures related to General Radiography.

The technologist will handle patient information registry, report preparation, and equipment maintenance. They will also be expected to undergo training in full-line Computerized Tomography (CT) and successfully complete the CAMRT CT certification.

Requirements

  • Registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario – Radiology.
  • Minimum one (1) year hospital experience or equivalent.
  • Scanning in CT head and renal colic experience preferred.
  • Valid CPR certification.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to provide service excellence and patient-focused care.
  • Demonstrates initiative and ability to work as a member of an interdisciplinary team.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and utilize critical decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in a multidisciplinary family-centred care environment.
