This role performs direct and indirect functions in the Cardiac Cath Lab, assisting physicians with clinical and technical aspects of cardiovascular care. Key duties include scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating during all invasive procedures, ensuring patient safety and procedural efficiency.

Handles cardiac alerts and STEMI cases, processes images, and maintains inventory control. The role requires working with advanced imaging technology to support interventional and surgical procedures, contributing to high-quality patient outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited program for Radiologic Technologists
  • One-year hospital experience in radiology (required)
  • Prior experience in special procedures or cath lab (preferred)
  • Current ARRT License
  • General Radiographer certification, State of Florida (CRT)
  • Current BLS certification
  • ACLS certification within 6 months of hire

Responsibilities

  • Assist with cardiovascular and radiologic invasive procedures
  • Monitor and document patient information
  • Process images
  • Scrub, monitor, and circulate in all invasive procedures in the Cath Lab and IVR
  • Perform inventory control
  • Function on all cardiac alerts and STEMI cases
  • Assist physicians and staff with clinical and technical aspects of cardiovascular care
  • Perform direct and indirect functions in the Cardiac Cath Lab
