Henrietta, US · Part-time · $70,000 – $94,000

About this role

As a Sonographer at Rochester Regional Health, you will play an important part in delivering high-quality imaging exams that are essential to patient care. Working on the Henrietta Medical Campus, you will be part of the Radiology department, performing or assisting in Vascular, Abdominal, OB/GYN, and Neurovascular Sonography exams.

Your day-to-day work involves using a variety of transducers and imaging techniques to produce high-quality ultrasound images and obtain all required measurements. You will review patient charts for history, valid orders, and clinical appropriateness, and you will complete preliminary reporting, even calling results to doctor's offices or nursing floors as needed.

You will collaborate closely with Radiologists and Neurologists, assisting with invasive procedures under sonographic guidance. Your commitment to compassionate, patient-focused care, strong attention to detail, and exceptional documentation skills will help maintain a consistent level of quality in a supportive, professional environment.

This role offers the chance to grow through continuing education classes (CME) to maintain your registry, and you may also act as a resource to ultrasound students by demonstrating procedures and precepting new personnel.
