About this role
This role involves performing noninvasive diagnostic imaging of the heart using ultrasound to evaluate cardiac structure and function. You will prepare patients, capture high-quality echocardiograms, and work closely with cardiologists to diagnose and monitor heart conditions, all while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Day-to-day activities include operating ultrasound equipment, recording images, and documenting findings in the EPIC charting system. You will also perform vascular ultrasound studies as needed, given the dual certification requirement for both echo and vascular technology.
This is a traveler contract position with a night shift schedule: Saturday, Sunday, and Monday from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. You will be part of a team that invests in your development and provides the tools to succeed.

Requirements
- Two (2) years of experience required.
- Dual certification in echocardiography and vascular technology required (ARDMS-AE/PE or CCI-RCS; ARDMS-RVT or CCI-RVS).
- Current BLS certification required.
- Flu vaccine required with no exemptions.
- Associate degree and graduation from a formal sonography program, or equivalent experience.
- One (1) year cardiac and vascular sonography experience performing non-invasive lab studies (clinical rotations may count).
- In lieu of education/experience: five (5) years dedicated cardiovascular lab experience or completion of a Director-approved sonography program.
- One year of EPIC charting system experience preferred (not required).
Responsibilities

- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols during patient exams.
