In this role, you will be responsible for the preparation and execution of MR procedures. You'll warmly greet and welcome patients, visitors, and staff, and assist radiologists and other physicians in performing exams when necessary. You will also assess patient condition, produce good quality radiographic images, and ensure adherence to safety standards.

This is a per diem position primarily providing coverage for weekends and evenings, with additional shifts as needed. You will also provide coverage to Brooklyn Methodist Hospital and the Center for Community Health. Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Graduate from an accredited program in the school of Radiologic Technology.
- New York State Department of Health X-ray License.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification.
- At least 1 year of experience.
- New York State Department of Health IV Certification (preferred).
- ARRT Advanced Modality certification - MR (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Prepare and execute MR procedures.
- Warmly greet and welcome patients, visitors, and staff.
- Assist radiologists and other physicians in performing exams.
- Assess patient condition and produce high-quality radiographic images.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards during all procedures.
- Screen patients for MRI safety and administer contrast agents as needed.
- Operate MRI equipment and adjust scanning parameters appropriately.
