About this role

Hennepin Healthcare is an integrated system of care that includes HCMC, a nationally recognized Level I Adult Trauma Center and Level I Pediatric Trauma Center and acute care hospital, as well as a clinic system with primary care clinics located in Minneapolis and across Hennepin County. We are currently seeking a Staff Nurse to join our Cardiac Cath Lab.

This position is a 0.7 FTE (7 shifts per pay period), 8-hour shifts, Days, with on-call per unit policy. In this role, you will provide and coordinate nursing care within the context of the Hennepin Healthcare System Patient and Family Centered Care model, under general supervision.

You will partner with patients, their families, and significant others to protect, promote, and optimize health, prevent illness and injury, and alleviate suffering through the treatment of the human response. Note: this position may cross train in Interventional Radiology.

Requirements

  • 1 year of recent adult ICU and/or Cardiac Cath Lab professional nursing (RN) experience within the last 3 years
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Minnesota
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Ability to work 8-hour day shifts and participate in on-call duties
