As a CT Technologist, you will conduct a wide range of scans, primarily in an ER environment including both hospital and free-standing settings. Your day-to-day involves performing CT examinations and procedures that require contrast agents, managing patients during complex exams, and operating portable X-ray equipment.

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of experience post-graduation
RT (R),(CT), (ARRT) and state licensure where necessary
Valid Driver's License
BLS/CPR Certification
Professionalism and strong interpersonal communication skills
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
Pass all necessary health requirements for hospital employment, including drug screen and background check
Ability to use mobile phone devices and applications

Responsibilities

Perform CT examinations and procedures that require the use of contrast agents
Manage patients during complex procedure exams
Operate portable X-ray machine and other X-ray equipment
Solve minor equipment problems for both X-ray and CT
Communicate compassionately and professionally with patients
Maintain equipment and area cleanliness
Communicate professionally and effectively with hospital staff and colleagues
