Diagnostic Imaging Solutions (DIS), a subsidiary of Catalyst MedTech, is the nationwide leader in cardiovascular imaging, providing top-tier ultrasound services, clinical staffing, and cutting-edge diagnostic solutions with a unique, direct to point-of-service healthcare model. We are seeking a registered Cardiovascular Sonographer who is a self-starter and a continuous learner to join our team in Philadelphia.

In this role, you will perform transthoracic echocardiograms and stress echo exams while following established protocols, obtaining thorough patient histories, and presenting key findings to the interpreting physician. You will also assist with ACR and IAC accreditation processes and participate in quality assessment and process improvement initiatives to ensure continuous quality improvement of care.

You will work independently in a variety of clinical settings including outpatient testing centers, hospitals, clinics, and physician offices, traveling to assigned client locations in a safe manner. The schedule is Monday through Friday during daylight hours, with no nights, weekends, or on-call shifts.

Requirements

  • RDCS (ARDMS) or RCS (CCI); RVT/RVS a plus
  • Successful completion of an accredited ultrasound program
  • 1 year of Cardiac and/or Vascular Ultrasound experience
  • Demonstrated proficiency in strain imaging, 3D echocardiography, Definity contrast, and IV placement
  • Active Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
  • Ability to push/pull heavy medical equipment
  • Valid Driver's License

Responsibilities

  • Perform transthoracic echocardiograms and stress echo exams while following established protocols
  • Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and clinical staff to ensure optimal imaging and exceptional patient experience
  • Obtain a thorough patient history and present key findings to the interpreting physician
  • Assist with ACR and IAC accreditation processes
  • Conduct work in a sterile environment based on established protocols and client processes
  • Maintain and operate ultrasound equipment safely, ensuring routine maintenance is up-to-date and immediately reporting any malfunctions or concerns
  • Participate in quality assessment and process improvement initiatives to ensure continuous quality improvement of care
  • Travel to assigned client locations in a safe manner
