Scripps Health is seeking a skilled Sonographer specializing in OB/GYN for a casual per diem position at Scripps Clinic in San Diego's Hillcrest neighborhood. This role offers comprehensive obstetrics and gynecology services, providing patient-centered healthcare alongside passionate caregivers.

The primary schedule provides coverage every Friday, with the opportunity to pick up additional shifts as needed. This position may also require travel to the La Jolla sites for coverage during PTO and other staffing needs.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Diagnostic Medical Sonography
  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification from ARDMS with OB/GYN specialty
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers
  • Ability to perform high-quality ultrasound examinations in obstetrics and gynecology
  • Experience in a clinical OB/GYN setting preferred
  • Willingness to travel between clinic locations in San Diego

Responsibilities

  • Perform OB/GYN sonography exams in a clinical setting
  • Provide patient-centered healthcare in the obstetrics and gynecology department
  • Cover the primary Friday schedule with flexibility to pick up additional shifts
  • Travel to La Jolla sites as needed for coverage
  • Provide coverage for PTO and other staffing needs as required
  • Work 8-hour varied shifts in a per diem capacity
