Cardiac Sonographer - Heart & Vascular Center

At NorthBay Health, the Cardiac Sonographer is a registered cardiac ultrasound sonographer with demonstrated clinical expertise. They are responsible and accountable for the delivery of all cardiology service modalities according to the Cardiovascular Medicine clinic. This role ensures high quality, cost effective care for all patients.

The Sonographer works collaboratively with healthcare providers, acting as a clinical resource. They monitor standards of practice, patient outcomes, and patient satisfaction. Adherence to departmental policies, procedures, and guidelines is essential in daily operations.

In the Heart & Vascular Center, the Sonographer supports the team by maintaining current knowledge in ultrasound and cardiology.
