Join Ohio State University Physicians as a Senior Cardiovascular Sonographer and lead a dynamic team where excellence meets compassion. Consistently perform at least 50% of high skill level exams including Echocardiograms for Mitral Valve Clip and Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacements, Stress Echocardiograms, LV/RV 3D Volumes, and LV/RV Strain Analysis. Independently conduct all cardiovascular diagnostic examinations within ARDMS scope of practice. Complete findings for each exam, confirming necessary information per IAC standards and lab protocols.
Serve as a subject matter expert and mentor for other Cardiac Sonographers, acting as a professional and technical role model. Assist in teaching students, residents, fellows, and new employees. Help with workflow, scheduling, rescheduling of exams, and equipment service needs like preventative maintenance and repairs.

Requirements
- ARDMS certification allowing practice within cardiac sonography scope
- Expertise as clinical expert in Cardiac Sonography
- Proficiency in high skill level exams such as 3D volumes and strain analysis
- Knowledge of IAC standards and lab protocols for exam findings
- Experience participating in lab accreditation and quality improvement/assurance processes
- Ability to detect malfunctions and diseases in cardiovascular ultrasound
- Thorough understanding of clinical indications for all procedures performed
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic cardiac examinations to locate, evaluate, and record pertinent anatomical, pathological, and functional data of the cardiovascular system
