Spring Fertility is seeking a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our passionate, dedicated team of leading physicians and scientists. In this role, you will perform gynecologic, obstetric, and infertility ultrasounds using 2D and 3D transducers and doppler technology. You will prepare exam rooms, conduct clinical assessments, and utilize the EMR system to accurately import scans, ensuring the highest quality patient care.

Requirements
- American Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDS) certification required
- 2 years previous experience in OB/GYN or infertility required
- Proficiency in 2D and 3D ultrasound imaging techniques
- Knowledge of doppler technology and its application in fertility imaging
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality
Responsibilities
- Prepares exam room and ultrasound equipment to conduct sonography examinations
- Performs clinical assessments and diagnostic gynecologic, obstetric, and infertility ultrasound procedures using various transducers (3D, 2D vaginal and abdominal)
- Utilizes EMR system to properly import scans accurately
- Addresses concerns of abnormal findings with physician in a timely manner
- Maintains patient privacy and confidentiality in accordance with privacy laws (e.g., HIPAA) and facility policies and procedures
- Maintains exam rooms and ultrasound supplies and equipment, including sterilizing transducers and machines
- Integrates education, technical competence, and patient interaction skills to execute safe and precise procedures
- Performs standard clinic medical assistant duties as needed, such as vitals and flipping rooms
