As a CT Tech I, you will operate imaging equipment to perform procedures for a specified patient population, using appropriate technical and safety methods. You will manage resources like supplies and equipment efficiently while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Requirements
- Technical Degree or Diploma in Radiology (required)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (required)
- Medical Radiation Technologist license from Mississippi State Department of Health (required)
- Registered Radiologic Technologist (R.T.) credential from ARRT (required)
- Registered Technologist in Computed Tomography (CT) from ARRT (preferred)
- Basic knowledge of radiographic equipment and imaging procedures
- Ability to effectively relate and communicate with internal and external customers
- Basic knowledge of radiology information systems (RIS, HIS, PACS preferred)
Responsibilities
- Operates CT imaging equipment to produce diagnostic images for a specified patient population
- Performs quality radiologic procedures using appropriate technical and safety methods
- Monitors and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, quality standards, and policies
- Effectively manages resources such as supplies and equipment in a productive manner
- Prepares and administers contrast media as needed for imaging procedures
- Positions patients correctly to obtain optimal images while ensuring comfort and safety
- Performs other job functions as assigned
