About this role
Join an energetic, patient-focused team at Medstar Radiology Network as a Full-time CT Technologist at our outpatient imaging center. The role involves performing computed tomography procedures that produce sectional and three-dimensional images for interpretation by a licensed independent practitioner.
Under the direction of the Radiology Medical Director, you will execute CT procedures and related techniques while ensuring all services meet established safety guidelines and regulatory requirements. Daily work centers on operating CT equipment and delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging on state-of-the-art systems.
You will serve as part of the imaging center team, actively seeking and providing feedback to support improved clinical practice. The position supports preventative care and treatment through essential imaging studies interpreted by subspecialized radiologists.
OIA manages centers across more than 60 communities, offering opportunities to work with advanced technology and contribute to patient care in a collaborative outpatient environment focused on diagnostic excellence.
Requirements
- Up to 5 years experience as a CT Technologist.
- Minimum Associates Degree in Radiology or graduate of an accredited two-year radiology program.
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiography with current valid registration.
- CT advanced registration through ARRT required upon hire for IDTF centers or within the first 12 months of employment for non-IDTF centers.
- Meets the state licensure requirement for the state in which they practice.
- Skill in operation of CT equipment as well as applicable ancillary equipment.
- Ability to work independently and multitask while providing accurate documentation.
- Demonstrates understanding of human cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, pathology, radiopharmacology, and medical terminology.
Responsibilities
