About this role
This Cardiovascular/Interventional Imaging Technologist position at St. Joseph Hospital Eureka is responsible for performing advanced cardiovascular and interventional imaging procedures under the general direction of the Department Manager and Lead Technologist. You will collaborate closely with cardiologists, radiologists, and other medical staff to deliver high-quality patient care.
Day to day, you will work 10-hour day shifts, serving as a customer service representative to patients, families, and the medical team. You will also assist with data collection and provide age-appropriate care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, ensuring a compassionate and safe experience.

Requirements
- Graduate of ARRT School or equivalent education/experience
- California Radiologic Technologist license upon hire
- National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) upon hire
- National Provider BLS certification from American Heart Association upon hire
Responsibilities
- Perform advanced cardiovascular and interventional imaging procedures in the Cath Lab
- Serve as a customer service representative to patients, families, and medical staff
- Participate in quality assurance and organizational improvement activities
- Provide age-appropriate care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, including data collection
- Collaborate with cardiologists, radiologists, and other medical staff during procedures
- Maintain sterile field and assist as a scrub technician during catheterization procedures
