Select Specialty Hospital - Palm Beach is a critical illness recovery hospital committed to providing world-class inpatient post-ICU services. As a CT Technologist, you will play a central role in caring for chronic, critically ill patients during vulnerable moments.
Your daily responsibilities include preparing patients for diagnostic procedures, operating the CT scanner to produce cross-sectional images, and administering contrast media as directed. You will also monitor patients for adverse drug events and perform quality assurance on equipment.

Requirements
- At least 2 years experience as a Registered Radiologic Technologist and hold current state license (as required).
- At least 1 year experience as a CT Technologist (not including school).
- Must have ARRT or CMRT certification.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Must be current with Continuing Education in all fields of licensure.
- Experience operating facility-specific equipment preferred.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for diagnostic procedures by explaining the process and creating a comfortable environment.
- Use proper patient positioning and technical factors to consistently produce quality diagnostic studies.
- Correctly operate a CT scanner to produce cross-sectional images of desired patient anatomy.
- Administer contrast media as directed by referring physician.
- Monitor the patient for any adverse drug events and report accordingly.
- Perform routine quality assurance on equipment and identify basic malfunctions.
- Perform clerical duties, as needed, such as answering phones.
