About this role
The Angiography Technologist assists physicians during cardiac and peripheral diagnostic and interventional procedures, including pacemakers and ICD implantations. This role requires expertise in operating various radiographic equipment to produce clear images efficiently. The technologist is responsible for ensuring patient safety and care within the cath lab environment.
Daily duties include preparing sterile fields, handling catheters, and monitoring patient vitals throughout procedures. The technologist performs radiographic work on multiple equipment types, completing all tasks competently and promptly. Long periods of standing are required while wearing lead aprons. The role involves rotating call for emergency procedures with a 30-minute response time.

Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited Radiology Program
- Current ARRT certification in diagnostic radiology
- Possess current license as a State of Ohio Radiology Technologist
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification required within six months of hire
- Ability to stand for long periods while wearing lead aprons
- Willingness to participate in rotating call with 30-minute response time
Responsibilities
- Assist the physician during cardiac or peripheral diagnostic and interventional procedures, including pacemakers and ICDs
- Perform radiographic work on several different types of radiographic equipment in a competent, timely and efficient manner
- Assist with patient care and safety while the patient is in the Cardiac Cath or EP lab environment
- Rotate call for emergency procedures with a 30-minute response time
- Stand for long periods while wearing lead aprons
- Prepare and maintain sterile field, handling catheters and supplies
- Monitor patient vitals and document procedural information
