As an MRI Technologist at MaineGeneral Health, you will perform magnetic resonance imaging in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with the policies, values, and mission of the organization. You will review patient history and physician's orders, ensuring patient understanding and cooperation. Administer contrast media and/or medications as ordered, while monitoring patient condition and responding appropriately. Prepare equipment and supplies, implementing safety standards and quality control procedures.

Requirements

Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
Maine State Radiologic Technologist license is required
Certification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is required within 2 years of hire
Knowledge of MRI safety protocols and contraindications
Ability to assess and monitor patient condition during procedures
Proficiency in operating MRI equipment and analyzing images
