About this role
Mayfair Diagnostics is seeking a casual MRI Technologist to join our Saskatoon team, operating state-of-the-art MRI scanners in a progressive, patient-focused environment. This role is central to our mission of improving lives through focused imaging and compassionate care.
Day-to-day, you will perform MRI examinations in accordance with Saskatchewan regulatory standards and CAMRT guidelines, ensuring accurate patient screening, positioning, and procedure preparation. You will also coordinate with attending physicians for contrast studies and maintain rigorous quality assurance in all patient interactions.

Requirements
- Current registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan as an MRI Technologist
- Membership in good standing with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT)
- Proven ability to perform quality assurance in patient care, including accurate screening and procedure preparation
- Experience operating MRI scanners and accessory equipment in a clinical setting
- Ability to work flexible daytime and evening shifts as needed for casual coverage
- Strong attention to detail for verifying consultation requests and patient identification without error
Responsibilities
- Operate MRI scanner(s) and accessory equipment to perform examinations per College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan standards and CAMRT code of ethics
- Ensure accuracy of consultation requests, patient identification, and complete patient screening without error
- Explain procedures to patients and assist with transport and positioning to fulfill all patient needs
- Maintain patient confidentiality at all times and ensure departmental imaging quality standards are met
- Perform routine performance checks on equipment and report non-operational equipment or failure to the site manager or Infrastructure
- Coordinate attending physician presence for all contrast examinations to ensure proper supervision and safe execution
- Assist in orientating and evaluating new employees to departmental routines and standards
