The Vascular Sonographer position at University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences requires a high level of knowledge, ability, and responsibility in patient care. Requirements
- ARDMS certification in Vascular Technology (RVT)
- Knowledge of vascular anatomy and pathophysiology
- Proficiency in ultrasound equipment operation
- Ability to perform carotid, venous, and arterial duplex studies
- Experience with intraoperative vascular imaging
- BLS certification
- High level of patient care skills in clinical settings
Responsibilities
- Perform vascular ultrasound studies in surgical specialties
- Provide high level of knowledge and responsibility in patient care
- Conduct non-invasive vascular imaging in the SUSL Vascular Lab
- Operate ultrasound equipment for arterial and venous assessments
- Assist with Doppler and duplex ultrasound procedures
- Prepare patients for vascular lab examinations
- Contribute to accurate vascular diagnostics for surgical teams
