Conduct thorough vascular ultrasound assessments to create Venous Flow Maps for safe, effective treatment plans. Assist physicians in explaining treatment plans addressing specific patient needs. Perform additional ultrasound exams as required to ensure treatment effectiveness and patient safety.

Set up and clean procedure rooms, exam rooms, and ultrasound rooms before and after each patient. Adhere to standard time allotments for efficient patient flow. Work with office staff, administrative staff, and physicians to review ultrasound schedules for timely care.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience as a Vascular Sonographer
  • Completion of an accredited ultrasound program
  • Vascular registry (RVT, RVS, RPhS) certification required
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care

Responsibilities

  • Perform ultrasound examinations of patients to create a Venous Flow Map for recommending safe, effective treatment plans
  • Assist the Physician in explaining the treatment plan to the patient and how it addresses the patient's specific needs
  • Set up and clean-up procedure rooms, exam rooms, and ultrasound rooms before and after each patient
  • Perform all additional ultrasound examinations as required by the Physician's treatment plan to ensure effectiveness and patient safety
  • Adhere to standard time allotments for each type of ultrasound exam to maintain efficient patient flow
  • Work with office staff, administrative staff, and Physicians to review ultrasound schedules for excellent patient care
  • Develop and maintain quality of work and skills through continued education and interaction with other Ultrasound Technologists
  • Maintain equipment and manage supply inventory for continued effective operations
