About this role

This Radiographer Resource Tech provides clinical and operational support across multiple Orthopedic locations, ensuring high-quality imaging workflow and contributing to efficient clinic operations. The ideal candidate is adaptable, collaborative, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.

Day-to-day responsibilities include rotating between three orthopedic sites: Trauma Orthopedics, Elective Orthopedics, and South Pavilion Orthopedics. Reliable transportation is required, as daily assignment locations may vary based on departmental needs.

Corewell Health operates over 300 outpatient clinics across Michigan, offering a multitude of care options to the communities served. This role provides the opportunity to learn and explore various interests or to specialize in one area within a large, supportive system.

This part-time position offers a variable day shift from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday, with variable weekends. Team members must work a minimum of one scheduled day per week at assigned locations.

Requirements

  • Required Associate's Degree or equivalent years of experience in related field.
  • 2 years of relevant experience in radiology required.
  • CRT-Radiographer (R) - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Upon Hire required.
  • CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association or ARC American Red Cross within 90 days required.
  • CRT-Bone Densitometry (BD) - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Bone Density Sites Upon Hire preferred.
  • Preferred Bachelor's Degree.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates and performs routine diagnostic and fluoroscopic procedures, portable x-rays, and surgery procedures according to standards and practices.
  • Receives and ensures the execution of physician orders.
  • Ensures equipment is present and accounted for at the beginning and end of each shift.
  • Provides clinical and operational support across multiple Orthopedic locations.
  • Assists providers and radiology staff to maintain high-quality imaging workflow.
  • Rotates between three orthopedic sites as needed to support departmental needs.
