About this role
As a Radiographer at CarolinaEast Health System, you operate radiographic equipment and care for patient needs within the Radiology Department. The role supports high-quality diagnostic imaging services using the latest medical technologies to serve the Coastal Carolina community.
In your daily work, you will perform radiographic examinations while ensuring patient comfort and safety. You will utilize state-of-the-art equipment to produce clear images for accurate diagnosis by radiologists. Monitoring patient condition during procedures and maintaining radiation safety protocols are key aspects of this position.

Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Science.
- Registered or registry eligible by the ARRT.
- Maintain current AHA BLS certification.
- Deliver outstanding customer service that upholds CarolinaEast's Standards of Excellence.
- Knowledge of human anatomy and radiographic positioning techniques.
- Ability to operate and maintain radiographic equipment.
Responsibilities
- Operate radiographic equipment and care for patient needs within the Radiology Department.
- Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations following physician orders.
- Position patients accurately to obtain high-quality images while ensuring safety.
- Monitor patient condition during procedures and address any concerns.
- Ensure compliance with radiation safety standards and maintain clean equipment.
- Assist radiologists with contrast studies and other specialized imaging.
- Document patient information and imaging procedures in electronic health records.
