Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • BLS for Healthcare Provider certified
  • Registered Vascular Sonographer/Technologist (RVT or RVS)
  • New graduates awaiting registry have 18 months from date of hire to obtain
  • Knowledge of vascular anatomy and pathophysiology
  • Proficiency in non-invasive vascular ultrasound techniques
  • Ability to perform testing on patients of all ages

Responsibilities

  • Perform non-invasive cardiovascular testing for all ages
  • Conduct vascular ultrasound examinations to assess blood flow
  • Evaluate arterial and venous systems for abnormalities
  • Operate state-of-the-art ultrasound equipment in Cardiac Diagnostics
  • Prepare patients for testing and ensure comfortable experience
  • Document findings from vascular studies accurately
  • Collaborate with radiology specialists on patient care
