Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- BLS for Healthcare Provider certified
- Registered Vascular Sonographer/Technologist (RVT or RVS)
- New graduates awaiting registry have 18 months from date of hire to obtain
- Knowledge of vascular anatomy and pathophysiology
- Proficiency in non-invasive vascular ultrasound techniques
- Ability to perform testing on patients of all ages
Responsibilities
- Perform non-invasive cardiovascular testing for all ages
- Conduct vascular ultrasound examinations to assess blood flow
- Evaluate arterial and venous systems for abnormalities
- Operate state-of-the-art ultrasound equipment in Cardiac Diagnostics
- Prepare patients for testing and ensure comfortable experience
- Document findings from vascular studies accurately
- Collaborate with radiology specialists on patient care
