We're seeking a Cardiovascular Sonographer who is a self-starter, continuous learner, and enjoys travel. Enjoy a consistent Monday-Friday daylight schedule with no nights, weekends, holidays, or on-call duties.

Perform transthoracic echocardiograms, stress echoes, and full-range vascular ultrasound studies including carotid, venous, arterial, and ABI exams following protocols. Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and staff for optimal imaging and patient experience. Obtain thorough patient history and present key findings to interpreting physicians.

Work independently at outpatient centers, hospitals, clinics, and physician offices with moderate to high patient volume. Travel safely to assigned client locations in all weather conditions while maintaining sterile environments. Assist with ACR and IAC accreditation processes and operate ultrasound equipment safely.

Requirements

  • Active RVT (ARDMS) or RVS (CCI) Certification
  • Active RDCS (ARDMS) or RCS (CCI); RVT/RVS a plus
  • Successful completion of an accredited ultrasound program
  • 2 years of ultrasound experience
  • Demonstrated proficiency in cerebrovascular, venous insufficiency, and arterial imaging
  • Active Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
  • Ability to push/pull heavy medical equipment
  • Valid Driver’s License

Responsibilities

  • Performs transthoracic echocardiograms and stress echo exams while following established protocols
  • Performs full-range vascular ultrasound studies including carotid, venous, arterial, ABI, and other vascular exams following protocols
  • Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and clinical staff to ensure optimal imaging and exceptional patient experience
  • Obtain thorough patient history and present key findings to the interpreting physician
  • Assist with ACR and IAC accreditation processes
  • Maintain and operate ultrasound equipment safely, reporting malfunctions immediately
  • Participate in quality assessment and process improvement initiatives
  • Travel to assigned client locations in a safe manner
