The Per Diem Ultrasonographer is a vital role in assessing and tracking reproductive health for patients undergoing fertility treatments. This role conducts precise transvaginal and abdominal ultrasounds, obtains detailed diagnostic images, and works closely with physicians to assist in treatment planning.

Dedicated to precision and professionalism, the Ultrasonographer ensures patient comfort, safety, and education throughout the imaging procedure. This onsite position supports locations in Milwaukee, WI and Buffalo Grove, IL, with shifts on Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 6:30 AM to 11:00 AM and Tuesday, Thursday from 6:30 AM to 10:00 AM.

This role offers the opportunity to apply advanced ultrasound technology in a specialized fertility setting, collaborating with a dedicated team to provide a seamless and personalized journey to parenthood for every patient.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree or higher in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field.
  • Current certification as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or equivalent certification.
  • 1-2 years of experience performing transvaginal and abdominal ultrasounds as a Sonographer in a fertility clinic or reproductive medicine setting.
  • Strong knowledge of fertility-related ultrasound procedures, terminology, and reproductive anatomy.
  • Proficiency in interpreting ultrasound images and accurately documenting findings.
  • Ability to work in a diverse and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform transvaginal and abdominal ultrasounds to assess pelvic structures, monitor follicular development, and diagnose reproductive conditions.
  • Utilize advanced ultrasound technology to obtain high-quality images with precision.
  • Ensure accuracy in capturing, documenting, and analyzing diagnostic images.
  • Prioritize patient comfort, safety, and confidentiality during procedures.
  • Identify and interpret normal and abnormal findings to support fertility assessments.
  • Collaborate with physicians to provide timely, accurate diagnostic reports and assist in treatment planning.
  • Maintain detailed and organized patient records and ultrasound reports.
  • Educate and support patients by explaining procedures and their role in fertility care.
