Under site designate leader and according to established policies and procedures, perform accurate and efficient Ultrasound exams utilizing appropriate imaging equipment. Use independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative. Demonstrate good clinical skills and provide the best possible images for interpretation.

Join a team at this established teaching hospital opened in 1961 and part of Corewell Health since 2014. Work in Ultrasound - Trenton Hosp department with rotating shifts, variable hours, and every fourth weekend. Primary location is SITE - Trenton Hospital - 5450 Fort St - Trenton.

Requirements

Graduate of Diagnostic Ultrasound Program or equivalent
Minimal experience as gained at student level
Registered by American Registry Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Registry eligible
If unregistered, obtain at least one (ABD or OB/GYN) within 1 year from hire
Additional registry within two years from date of hire
If registered at hire, additional registry within 1 year from hire
CRT-Vascular Tech-ARDMS within 1 year for Vascular Department
Basic Life Support Certification for Healthcare Providers at hire through the American Heart Association

Responsibilities

Perform accurate and efficient Ultrasound exams utilizing appropriate imaging equipment
Apply independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative during exams
Demonstrate good clinical skills in ultrasound procedures
Provide the best possible images for interpretation
