Perform all phases of diagnostic vascular sonography including Abdominal Vascular (Liver, Renal, Mesenteric), L.E. & U.E. Venous Doppler, Carotid, Renal Transplant, Liver Transplant, Pancreas Transplant. Execute Finger and Toe PPG’s, Chronic Venous, TCD, and Nielsen Cold Challenge procedures. Promote mission through high quality, cost effective, family-orientated service.

Work with infant, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients in collaborative environment integrating education, research, and clinical leadership. Ensure smooth department operation via clerical functions like document handling, interpersonal relationships, and information management. Meet accreditation requirements from ICAEL, ICAVL, JCAHO, federal, state, and department bodies.

Requirements

Associate degree in vascular technology/General Ultrasound required
ARDMS (RVT) required
Bachelor degree in ultrasound preferred
Minimum one year experience and ARDMS or CCI registry in echo or vascular preferred
CPR certification on hire
BCLS (AHA) certificate within 60 days of hire
Previous experience in performing echocardiograms of all ages preferred, especially hospital-based

Responsibilities

Perform all phases of diagnostic vascular sonography
Conduct Abdominal Vascular procedures (Liver, Renal, Mesenteric)
Perform L.E. & U.E. Venous Doppler and Carotid studies
Execute Renal Transplant, Liver Transplant, Pancreas Transplant ultrasounds
Complete Finger and Toe PPG’s, Chronic Venous, TCD, and Nielsen Cold Challenge procedures
Deliver high quality, cost effective, family-orientated service
Integrate education, research, and clinical leadership in collaborative environment
Manage clerical functions including document handling and information dispersion
