About this role
As an MRI Technologist at TriHealth, you'll deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging using advanced MRI techniques and established protocols. You'll apply strong clinical judgment, technical skill, and patient-centered care while working closely with radiologists and a supportive imaging team.
You perform high-quality diagnostic images using proper techniques and established protocols. This requires independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative for accurate diagnosis, along with competencies in MR physics, patient positioning, MR safety, and contrast injections.

Requirements
- Associate's Degree in Allied Health or graduate of an approved technical, professional, or vocational program.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- ARRT certification as Radiographer or NMTCB certification required.
- ARMRIT (American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists) certification required.
- Knowledge of MRI safety protocols, cross-sectional anatomy, and venipuncture.
- Ability to achieve MR registry within 2 years of employment.
Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality diagnostic images using proper techniques and established protocols.
- Utilize independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative for accurate diagnosis.
- Select proper imaging protocols and parameters based on clinical history.
- Orient new staff and assist in student education on MRI procedures.
- Troubleshoot equipment and ensure proper use and care of imaging systems.
- Maintain accurate records and comply with infection prevention procedures.
- Ensure patient and public safety, including adherence to MRI safety protocols.
- Work cooperatively with interdepartmental team members and communicate effectively with patients and families.
