The MRI Technologist performs all aspects of MR imaging accurately in accordance with established procedures and policies. Follow all regulatory guidelines and MRI safety precautions for patients of all groups. Maintain professional standards of conduct and ethics as outlined in department expectations.

Contribute to total patient care by accessing pertinent patient information and processing images. Assure correct images, accurate billing, file documentation, and record exam information into the department computer system. Support clinical team members with other activities when not performing imaging.

Requirements

  • ARMRIT or ARRT(MR) required
  • Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current
  • Graduate of ARRT approved Radiologic Technology Program or MRI course
  • At least 2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist preferred
  • Proficient computer skills

Responsibilities

  • Access pertinent patient information and process images
  • Assure correct images, accurate billing, and file documentation
  • Record information related to exams into department computer system
  • Perform other activities in support of clinical team members when not engaged in imaging
