This role is ideal for someone who thrives in motion and leads through adaptability. You’ll work across a variety of low-risk and high-risk clinical sites, stepping into an MFM clinic one day and a low-risk site the next. No nights, weekends or on-call responsibilities.

As an OB/MFM Sonographer (Floater), you’ll cover multiple site locations and bring stability during change. Help teams stay strong when support is needed most while expanding your clinical experience across different settings.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of OB sonography experience
  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) with an OB/GYN specialty
  • Knowledgeable of human anatomy and medical terminology related to OB/GYN specialty
  • Knowledge of applied physics related to ultrasound
  • Compliant with HIPAA as it relates to the use of EMR systems
  • Strong clinical judgment and adaptability across environments
  • Comfort navigating new teams, workflows, and technology
  • A steady, patient-first approach and dependable, team-first mindset

Responsibilities

  • Perform sonographic procedures across low-risk OB and MFM clinical settings.
  • Cover a variety of clinical settings across multiple site locations.
  • Inspect and review patient charts, reports, lab results, and medical history.
  • Create reports to assist the physician with documentation.
  • Evaluate sonograms to identify or rule out patient/fetus anomalies.
  • Communicate sonographic findings to physician and provide guidance for amniocentesis.
  • Communicate machine errors or needs and restock sonography rooms with required supplies.
  • Increase knowledge of diseases and new procedures through CMEs.
