We are searching for a talented Vascular Sonographer to join our Cardiology team, providing world-class, comprehensive healthcare close to home.

Under the direction of the Manager, the vascular sonographer performs a variety of technical procedures involving high frequency ultrasound waves for diagnostic purposes. Exercise a high degree of precision, skill, and judgment with sound knowledge of vascular anatomy, physiology, and Doppler physics. The sonographer also provides appropriate patient care.

Requirements

Graduate of a formal Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program or Vascular Technology Program accredited by CAAHEP required.
Bachelor of Science degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography is desirable.
A registered Technologist/Sonographer is required.
A minimum of two years of experience is required.
Current RDMS, RVS, RT(S), or registry eligible is required.
Registration within one year is required.
CPR certification is required.
Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.

Responsibilities

Perform a variety of technical procedures involving the application of high frequency ultrasound waves to patients for diagnostic purposes.
Exercise a high degree of precision, skill, and judgment in all vascular sonography procedures.
Demonstrate sound knowledge of vascular anatomy, physiology, Doppler physics, and ultrasound instrumentation.
Pursue or maintain appropriate certifications in vascular technology as required.
Exercise professional judgment in the performance of services and maintain a demeanor complimentary to medical ethics.
Provide appropriate patient care and recognize patient conditions essential for successful completion of procedures.
