We are searching for a talented Vascular Sonographer to join our Cardiology team, providing world-class, comprehensive healthcare close to home.
Under the direction of the Manager, the vascular sonographer performs a variety of technical procedures involving high frequency ultrasound waves for diagnostic purposes. Exercise a high degree of precision, skill, and judgment with sound knowledge of vascular anatomy, physiology, and Doppler physics. The sonographer also provides appropriate patient care.

Requirements
- Graduate of a formal Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program or Vascular Technology Program accredited by CAAHEP required.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography is desirable.
- A registered Technologist/Sonographer is required.
- A minimum of two years of experience is required.
- Current RDMS, RVS, RT(S), or registry eligible is required.
- Registration within one year is required.
- CPR certification is required.
- Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of technical procedures involving the application of high frequency ultrasound waves to patients for diagnostic purposes.
- Exercise a high degree of precision, skill, and judgment in all vascular sonography procedures.
- Demonstrate sound knowledge of vascular anatomy, physiology, Doppler physics, and ultrasound instrumentation.
- Pursue or maintain appropriate certifications in vascular technology as required.
- Exercise professional judgment in the performance of services and maintain a demeanor complimentary to medical ethics.
- Provide appropriate patient care and recognize patient conditions essential for successful completion of procedures.
