Support a robust structural heart program with procedures including transcatheter aortic and mitral valve replacements, Watchman and MitraClip implantation, and alcohol septal ablation procedures. The team supports coverage across the Madison area at various locations. Experience day shifts Monday-Friday with rotational weekend shifts at University Hospital.

Work with other teams of health care professionals to provide a positive experience to all patients, families, and visitors. Join our Cardiovascular Imaging Lab accredited by the IAC in both Echo and Vascular Imaging. Operate at a Level 1 Trauma Center, critical care facility, and several clinics.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an ultrasonography program
  • Registered in echocardiography (RDCS or RCS) upon hire
  • Registered in vascular ultrasound (RVT or RVS) upon hire
  • Basic Life Support/CPR upon hire
  • Completion of a CAAHEP accredited ultrasonography training program (preferred)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Ultrasonography, Radiology, Biological Sciences or relevant health sciences field (preferred)
  • 2 years of cardiovascular imaging experience (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Provide optimal cardiovascular imaging experience as part of a dynamic team
  • Utilize cutting-edge technology and procedures in cardiovascular imaging
  • Support robust structural heart program including transcatheter aortic and mitral valve replacements
  • Assist with Watchman and MitraClip implantation and alcohol septal ablation procedures
  • Collaborate with health care professionals for positive patient, family, and visitor experiences
  • Perform imaging in IAC-accredited Cardiovascular Imaging Lab for Echo and Vascular
  • Cover shifts across Madison area locations including Level 1 Trauma Center
