About this role
HSHS is seeking a Diagnostic/Medical/Vascular Sonographer. Ideal candidates are patient-focused mission-driven individuals comfortable working independently with all age groups using a variety of imaging equipment and systems. Candidates with experience or interest in Breast Imaging are preferred, and new grads are welcome to apply.
The core function is imaging with a focus on diagnostic, medical, and vascular sonography. Schedule includes 20 hours weekly with varied start times between 6am-8:30am for 8-hour shifts. Includes on-call every 4th weekend and holiday rotation.
Primarily based at St. Clare Hospital in Oconto Falls, WI, with coverage at St. Vincent Hospital and St. Mary's Hospital in Green Bay when needed. Part of Hospital Sisters Health System's 13 hospitals and clinics across Illinois and Wisconsin. Culture built on respect, care, competence, and joy with patient focus.

Requirements
- Graduate of or currently enrolled in an allied health program
- Experience in ultrasound/sonography preferred
- Certification as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) from ARDMS or Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) from CCI required
- Or eligible to sit for RVT or RVS exam and obtain registry within 6 months of hire
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required
- Patient-focused and mission-driven mindset
- Comfortable working independently
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic, medical, and vascular sonography imaging
- Operate a variety of imaging equipment and systems
- Work independently with patients of all age groups
- Cover imaging needs at St. Clare, St. Vincent, and St. Mary's Hospitals
- Participate in on-call rotation every 4th weekend
- Assist with holiday rotation coverage
- Focus on breast imaging as preferred area
