HSHS is seeking a Diagnostic/Medical/Vascular Sonographer. Ideal candidates are patient-focused mission-driven individuals comfortable working independently with all age groups using a variety of imaging equipment and systems. New grads welcome to apply.

Core function involves imaging in diagnostic, medical, and vascular focuses. Schedule includes 32 hours weekly with varied start times between 6am-8:30am on 8-hour shifts. On-call every 4th weekend and holiday rotation required.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in Sonography - Required
  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer - Required
  • Registered Vascular Technologist - Required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) - Required
  • Registry eligible (ARDMS or Cardiovascular Credentialing Institute)
  • RVT within one year of assuming the position
  • Related experience - Preferred

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic medical ultrasound imaging
  • Conduct vascular sonography examinations
  • Operate variety of imaging equipment and systems
  • Work independently with patients of all age groups
  • Participate in on-call every 4th weekend
  • Follow holiday rotation schedule
  • Produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
