About this role
Perform a variety of MRI imaging procedures on patients of all ages, exercising independent judgment with minimal supervision. This role requires producing high-quality technical images using Siemens 3.0T systems and ensuring proper documentation.
Prepare and position patients accurately for each protocol, observing special requirements for safety and image quality. Troubleshoot technical issues according to procedural guidelines and practice ALARA principles to minimize radiation exposure.
At Atria Institute in Beverly Hills, you will work in a collaborative environment with responsibility for reviewing schedules and completing QC sheets. Autonomy is balanced with adherence to strict safety protocols and equipment maintenance standards.

Requirements
- Previous experience with Siemens 3.0T systems required
- 5-10 years of MRI experience; previous supervisory experience preferred
- Graduate from an accredited radiography school or hospital-based program
- ARRT (MR) Certified and in good standing
- California State License (CRT)
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Yearly MRI Safety Certification (Level 2) required
- Ability to work extended hours or emergency shifts if necessary to maintain safe department coverage

- Assume responsibility for designated areas of MRI equipment, producing high-quality technical images and reviewing completed exams for quality and completeness
- Troubleshoot departmental technical issues according to correct procedural guidelines
- Practice and employ ALARA principles for all patients and members
- Ensure all QC sheets are completed accurately
- Review schedule for any gaps in coverage
